Science Laboratory

• The College has a well-equipped Science Laboratory established in accordance with the norms and standards prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The laboratory provides student teachers with opportunities to acquire scientific knowledge, practical skills, and hands-on experience essential for effective science teaching.

• The Science Laboratory is furnished with adequate equipment, apparatus, models, specimens, charts, and teaching-learning materials related to various branches of science. It enables students to perform experiments, demonstrations, observations, and investigative activities that strengthen their understanding of scientific concepts and principles.

• The laboratory serves as a resource centre for conducting practical work, preparing lesson demonstrations, developing teaching aids, and promoting inquiry-based learning. It helps student teachers cultivate scientific temper, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and experimental skills necessary for classroom instruction.

• Regular practical sessions, workshops, project activities, and demonstrations are organized to encourage experiential learning and active participation.
