Art & Craft Lab

• The College has a well-equipped Art and Craft Resource Centre as prescribed under the norms and standards of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The Centre provides student teachers with opportunities to develop creativity, artistic expression, aesthetic appreciation, and practical skills that are essential for effective classroom teaching.

• The Art and Craft Resource Centre is equipped with a variety of materials and resources required for drawing, painting, sketching, clay modeling, paper craft, poster making, collage work, educational charts, teaching aids, and other creative activities. The facility enables students to prepare instructional materials and learning resources that enhance classroom engagement and learning outcomes.

• The Centre encourages innovation, imagination, and hands-on learning through various artistic and craft-based activities. Regular workshops, exhibitions, demonstrations, and project work are organized to help student teachers develop creative competencies and gain practical experience in the preparation of teaching-learning materials.

• The Art and Craft Resource Centre plays a significant role in fostering creativity, communication, problem-solving skills, and aesthetic sensibility among student teachers. It also helps them understand the importance of integrating art and craft into the teaching-learning process for the holistic development of learners.
